How we rank Dallas plumbers
We evaluate plumbing companies against a fixed set of factors, then rank the editorial picks. Companies cannot pay to change their editorial ranking. Paid sponsorship is not a ranking factor. Where data cannot be verified, we mark it as unverified rather than guessing.

Ranking factors and weights

Independence rule: Paid sponsorship is not a ranking factor for editorial picks. Sponsored directory placements and enhanced profiles are clearly labeled and kept separate from editorial rank.

- The Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners license lookup for license tier and status.
- Public review platforms — summarized in themes, never copied verbatim.
- City/county permit and business records where relevant.
- Manufacturer dealer locators and local trade directories where relevant.
What we will not do
- Sell or imply sale of the #1 editorial ranking.
- Hide sponsorships or paid relationships.
- Fabricate ratings, review counts, license numbers, or availability claims.
- Let companies write their own editorial review.
- Present unverified data as verified — we label it instead.
